It was the last day in Malaysia and we were planning to eat at a market. I suddenly remembered that we haven’t gone to McDonald’s in Kuala Lumpur yet, so I asked our Dad when we were going to go to McDonald’s and he said today! Our parents told us earlier that there was a McDonald’s that served only ice cream, I quicky realized we were going for ice cream! There wasn’t a lot of McDonald’s in Malaysia because lots of Asian countries have been protesting American chains and because of that lots have closed down. The McDonald’s was in the mall underneath the PETRONAS Towers which makes sense because its a very touristy area. When we got to the McDonald’s we spotted the ice cream stand. They had a white peach McFlurry, as soon as we spotted it we knew we wanted it! We went to check out the regular McDonald’s to see the food that was different from Canada and the others that we have visited. We noticed that they had a local dish on the menu called Nasi Lemak. They also had a party set with drinks, meals, and desserts.
