High Speed Rail
We had lots of McDonald’s over our short time in China because we had a lot of rushed days and we had trouble finding places to eat. On the high speed train from Shanghai to Beijing we ordered McDonald’s to our seats on the train. When we first sat down in the train we started ordering McDonald’s so that it would be waiting at the next stop. We missed the cut-off time so we had to order it for the station after that which was two hours away! When we finally got our food Rylee and I enjoyed a grilled chicken sandwich and a big BBQ flavored chicken cutlet. My dad had a bacon and vegetable burger and McSpicy chicken nuggets, my mom decided to skip out.

Amazing dinner
That night when we arrived in Beijing we were all tired and there was a McDonald’s in the building that we were staying in so my dad and I ran down to get dinner there. We had a very unhealthy dinner of smoothies, McFlurrys, and fries. I had a lemon oolong tea smoothie, oolong tea is a popular tea in China that I had tried previously but disliked, however this one was really good. Rylee and my mom had a dark chocolate smoothie and my dad had a frappechino. We all had Oreo McFlurrys, which we can get in Canada but were still delicious! We also had some french fries that were really good.
The Great Wall of China Breakfast
The morning we were going to the Great Wall we were in a hurry so we each got two breakfast sandwiches because they are so small. One had sausage and cheese on it the other had ketchup and egg they were yummy.
